My years reflection

In my past year I have had the most spectacular time It's been like a rocket ship floating in space and never knowing what you're going to find. There were some fun time and some not fun time but I met the most amazing people and made some great friends. But the best thing of this year is still to come.

It has been my dream to go to sport camp since I move from year six to year seven, watching them bring back trophies and certificates looking at all the fun photos and videos. But when they walk through the front gates I would stop and stare for a while. I would say to myself, that's going to be me some day.

But other than that I have been doing very good in my e-asttle test. Not to toot my own horn but I got a 4P in my e-asttle reading evendo we have to get a 4A but you know it's still a great mark. I also got a 4B in my number test but in my e-asttle strand test I scored a 3A. I think it was because I got to cocky from my other test. Next time I won’t get so cocky and try my best to get the mark I’m supposed to get.

Just recently I have accepted an invitation to play tackle rugby with the room four’s teacher Mr. Detoy rugby team .I was filled with adrenal, punching the air like I was in a kung fu movie and running around like I was Usain Bolt . He is also the coach of the sports camp rugby and touch team so he was expert and a look like a really good guy.

It has been an astonishing time at Glen Innes but It's sad to say that this is my last year at Glen Innes school.  I've had a great time at Glen Innes school but I guess everyone has got to move on. I hope that you can do better than me and when you leave, you leave something that people is going to remember you by but most of all enjoy it while it last and just have fun.

 We have been learning about matariki for about one week now. Our teacher told us to make six shapes in these stars.

Today we made boxes to fit one hundred blocks  it was really hard to calculate the box's length and width but in the end the teacher help me and most of the other kids two. we did this because we were learning about about volume.

I have done really great at angles and I think I got the hang of it now.
I also found the degree for all the angles and named them.

This term I have really acceleration. Last term I got 3B now this term I got 4B.I am really proud of my self.

I did not get to listen to ms. Maude mori listen because I was at the dentist getting my teeth checked. It was exhausting and my mouth was getting sore. As I walk into the class room ms. Maude was going on about something about mori children being with there grandparents most of the time. She also said that the grandparents tech the children how to hunt,cook,make tools,make clothes and to clean. She also said something about history. Songs coming down from their ancestor to our generation like songs,stories and information on how they survived.

Nestle foods

Nestle had sponsored a numerous amount healthy option food for the kids that went to this event.

there were also salads but I found hard to put it in the menu. 

Nestle activity day

 I was not at this event but looking at the pictures it looked like a very fun day. I did not go because I have missed all of last week and only just returned the day befor this event. I would have loved a day like that.

NZ herald: Not allowed phone at work.

I think it is reasonably. The place you work for want you to pay attention to the customer and listen to the boss instead of listen to music. But you can bring it to work incase something is wrong. So I think you should your cell phone to work bot you can’t play on it.

Mrs Manu

Today was the most sad day ever our Mrs Manu is retirementireing. Ters were shared through out the class's and we will miss her dearly. I hope she has a grate retirement.

On behalf of our school we will miss you Mrs Manu.

We made a easter cup cakes today. We had to decorate our cakes within 15m. We were all trying to finish first. It was nerve braking. there was a prize for the best cup cake. the prize was a chocolate bunny.

Dear Mum

Our school is having a’’drop in cafe’’ in our hall on Wednesday April 5 2:00 pm and I really want you to come. I can also want to tell you about my levels in math,writing and reading. For Maths I got 3B and for writing I got a 2P, finally for reading I got 3A.

But the national standard for my age is a 4A. I have to work harder and harder this term especially on my writing also on my reading. I hope to get a 4A by the end of the year.

I have been doing some maths to acceleration my learning in math.I also want to practice some writing  and to do that I will write paragraphs to help me in school work.And for reading I have lot of books at home to read so I can read those to help me in reading.

Today the package from Grey Main School had arrived.We were exhilarated to open the package.I love their metaphors poems I thought that one was very original.Their we are was very different to our page.And there parents grew up in different place’s to ours.                        

This is our package heading for Grey Main School in the south island. We are 1 on 3000 class in this programme to get new zealand writing.

Walt:  conduct a statistical investigation.

We used google maps to determine the walking  distance to 124 Apirana Avenue. This is the entrance to the Omaru Creek that we are studying. The screenshot shows the route, distance and time from my house to the creek. Zain was the Furthest away from Omaru Creek. Jolie was the closest to Omaru Creek.Harrison lives in East Tamaki so he would take the train to Omaru Creek,Next, we .will be calculating the mean and the median.

Omaru Creek in Glen Innes was dirty and was a threat to the environment. A

Maintenance Crew urgently took the call to clean the Omaru creek and pull out some thing that do not go there like for example- a mattress,wet wipes, pipes , beer cans and kids toys. They flashed out the creek with clean water and tested it for 5 days to see how long it will stay that way. I hope that Omaru creek will stay clean forever and hope that the community stays on track so that the Omaru Creek stays clean.

Recently Glen Innes has chosen a part of east view creek also in walking distance. The things that were in the creek were unbelievable chip packets,beer bottles a bucket and clothes. I mean how do you even get clothes in the creek? Pipes for the sewer were in the creek. This is the condition of the creek now.

                                                                  

Water painting is very easy and I am going to tell you how to do this.First you learn the techniques,There are three Techniques you can use. 1 water on water. 2 water on dry. 3 dry on water. Water on water is when you mix a very little amount of water and paint.Then you use a paint brash to wet you paper and you apply your paint.2 water on dry.You wet your paint and apply to a dry paper.Dry on wet.Use paint but do not wet it and apply to wet paper.This my art work
